Xplorer Hunts
We build custom walking scavenger hunts that activate sidewalks, attract visitors, and showcase public art, history, and small businesses through the Xplorer app. Our hunts are perfect programming activations for downtown business districts, festivals, parks, social districts, and more!
How it Works
With Xplorer walking scavenger hunts, participants navigate to locations on the responsive map and solve puzzles at unique clue locations. Once all the clues are found, participants solve a final riddle to unlock the treasure chest and earn a prize!
Our Clues
We love to feature local public art, statues, architecture, history, and other unique locations with our clues. Clues can also lead to specific local businesses with an answer hidden inside.

More information links on each correct answer screen direct participants to external web sites. Highlight information about the artist, provide historical context, or showcase a nearby local small business.

Download the Xplorer App and use “demo” as the Activity Code. Navigate to Raleigh, NC on the map to see the clue locations around NC State University. Answers are shown in each clue photo so you can play through the treasure hunt without being in Raleigh. Imagine exploring the map area on foot while searching for each clue photo!
